Hello! I’m Rachel, a leader, learner, life and leadership coach, organizational health expert, mom, wife, and wild woman. I grew up in the mountains of rural Alaska, USA, and now live in Seattle, WA with my husband, Matt, and our boys, Sullivan and Cary.
I believe that conscious women in community will change the world. That takes your unique feminine leadership, and mine. When I find myself “going to sleep” - striving, feeling lost, blaming, judging, and addicted to suffering around whether I’m doing enough, in or outside of my home - I know it’s time to look inside. I do my own Unlearning SuperMom work because I have to stop wasting energy and time on shit that is not life-giving to me and to my family, work, and world. I want that for you, too. Oh, and cursing and laughing; I also want a lot of that.
I keep my creative tank full by loving up on my boys (and finding ways to count that as exercise and a mindfulness practice), reading a random assortment of books, creating content for my clients, connecting with the badass women in my life, and sneaking away on dates with my husband.
Let me put on my pantsuit for this part
I work with leaders who insist on being whole human beings, at home and at work, and the organizations that love them and want to keep them. I target the meaty stuff like trust, clarity, and learning as well as the gnarly stuff that we often avoid like conflict, stress, feedback, and emotional safety. I’ve worked with over 325 organizations in the Pacific Northwest in not-for-profit, small business, hospitality, and technology. I have a Masters in Organizational Systems with a specialization in Leadership in Organizational Development, am a Professional Co-Active Coach and a trained Executive Coach through Saybrook University, and hold a B.S. in Nutrition.
